Our unmanned sweets store “24 Sweets Shop Sapporo Teine” was introduced in “Kagaku CH,” a public relations magazine of Hokkaido University of Science High School (Teinei-ku, Sapporo).
What is 24 Sweets Shop Sapporo Teine Branch?
24 Sweets Shop, an unmanned sweet store
24 Sweets Shop is a 24-hour, unattended, frozen sweets store. 24 Sweets Shop opened its first store in Hiroshima in January 2023, and since then the number of stores has grown to an extraordinary level, with more than 120 stores currently operating throughout Japan.
All of the sweets handled at 24 Sweets Shops are both delicious and good-looking, a quality that makes you want to share them with someone without a second thought. In addition to the usual standard items, products related to seasonal events such as Halloween and products collaborating with popular influencers are added regularly, so you can enjoy new products no matter how many times you visit the same store.
24 Sweets Shop Sapporo Teine Branch, the first store to open in Sapporo

Since its opening on July 20, 2024, the 24 Sweets Shop Sapporo Teine Branch, which is operated by our company, has been operating mainly through PR activities using Instagram in order to spread the appeal of frozen sweets in Sapporo.

Publicity for 24 Sweets Shop Sapporo Teine Branch
Since its opening on July 20, Sapporo Teine store has been visited by many customers, and on October 9, 2024, the total number of customers exceeded 15,000, which is a tremendous achievement considering that it was only two and a half months after the opening.
One of the major factors that contributed to these results was the aggressive public relations activities that were implemented prior to the opening. After clearly defining the target, we effectively utilized both online and offline media to expand awareness of the restaurant.
(1) PR activities through online media (target: young generation)
Products were provided to influencers active in Sapporo and asked them to post their impressions and reviews. This successfully reached out to the younger generation, which is the main target group of 24 Sweets Shop. In addition, by having the influencers post on Instagram, it was possible to lay out an easy-to-understand lead to the Instagram account of the Sapporo Teinei store.
(2) Publicity activities through offline media (target: local residents)
Information about Sapporo Teine Branch and coupons were regularly posted in “Frippa,” a local newspaper in Sapporo. As a result, even those who do not usually look at SNS were able to learn that a new sweets store had opened nearby.
The results of the above proactive publicity activities were not limited to simply attracting customers, but also led to requests for coverage from major media outlets such as TV, radio, and newspapers. Needless to say, the Sapporo Teine Branch has made great strides in attracting more customers.

Within six months of its opening, the Sapporo Teine Branch had more than 10,000 followers on Instagram. We anticipate that many more people will visit our store in the future to enjoy our frozen treats.
