Deep Relationship between Kukan Corporation and Furano
Since our founding, we have been rooted in the rich tourism resources of Hokkaido, and have developed our business mainly in the Furano and Niseko areas.
Through collaboration with local business people and colleagues, we have shared many challenges and joys, and Furano has become more than just a place of business for us, but a special place to which we have a deep attachment.
Since then, we have been involved in numerous projects in the sightseeing and resort areas of Hokkaido.
In the process of contributing to the development of the region, even if only in a small way, we have come to deeply empathize with the charm and potential of the area, and our love for Furano has grown even deeper.
Continuing from the start-up period, the private accommodation business in Furano
The first business we undertook after our establishment in November 2022 was the operation of private accommodations.
We opened a series of private accommodations in the Kutchan-Niseko area and the Furano area, where we anticipated many foreign tourists and many opportunities to use private accommodations, and have operated a total of 4 rooms in the Furano area.
In the Furano area, we operated private accommodations in three different areas with different characteristics: Yamabe (suburban area), Hokuto (urban area), and Kitanomine (resort area), and through strategic marketing based on the characteristics of each location, we were able to attract many guests.
Although we have transferred the management of the four aforementioned properties to new owners, we are still participating in the private accommodations business in Furano in the following ways.

We are building our own private accommodation properties in Nakafurano.
